Let’s cook a delicious Anime Cupcake?

Originally named “Fairy Cakes” are becoming more popular every day. Mainly the ones that have a “unique style”. They are famous on series and American and English movies. In Brazil, this “little cake” is making part of some family’s income. If you want to invest in cupcakes brand or just make to have fun, continue reading this post on our blog!


First of all, you’re going to need some ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder without sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1 ½ teacup of sugar
  • 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla
  • 2 teacups of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 teacup of milk


Now, let’s see the preparation mode:

  1. Preheat the oven to moderate (180º C/356º F);
  2. Grease the cupcake pans very well;
  3. Mix the chocolate powder and the water until it becomes a paste. Reserve it;
  4. Mix the sugar and the butter until it becomes a cream. Then, add the eggs to the cream and finally the vanilla;
  5. Add the flour and the baking powder gradually. Beat them until smooth;
  6. Separate the cake batter in two bowls and in one of the bowls mix the reserved chocolate.
  7. Pour the two types of the cake batter in the cupcake pans, but don’t fill them completely because the cake baker will grow;
  8. Finally, bake them for 20 to 25 minutes or until passing the toothpick test. Let the cupcakes cool and then you can cover them with your favorite anime.

To cover your Anime Cupcake, you can use fondant with different colors, so you can create the character you want or you can use some small dolls of your favorite character.
